CORPUS CHRISTI - Ryan-Sanders Entertainment announced the complete lineup for Ziegfest 10th Annual Music Festival Monday and it includes a record 10 bands at the October 5-6 Whataburger Field event.

Headliner Pat Green caps two days of awesome entertainment and Texas Bar-B-Q with a 75-minute performance on the Ziegenbock Stage Saturday night at 9:30. Five hours earlier, Jesse Dayton kicks off the main bill from the Bud Light Stage.

In between, the Ian Moore Band, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Shooter Jennings and Bob Schneider keep the crowd rocking and grooving, reflecting and romancing and dancing.

“One of the really cool things about this year’s Ziegfest is the diversity of music,” producer Casey Lain said. “There’s truly something for everyone.

“Every native Texan or naturalized Texan loves great music and great Texas Bar-B-Q. Those two days will be a blast at a terrific value.”

The IBCA-sanctioned "No Excuses" Bar-B-Q Cook-Off begins in the West Parking Lot at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon and runs until 10. It resumes Saturday at 11. Local acts perform in the parking lot Friday between 4 and 10. That bill includes Party of Three, Neal Edwards and Whiskey D.

Dayton takes the stage Friday at 8:30.

Whataburger Field gates open at 3 p.m. Saturday. Corpus Christi’s own rock/alternative group RESZ, which beat out 11 local bands in a recent House of Rock competition, plays from 3:45-4:30.
